Nature-Grown Materials

Our mycelium urns are made from mycelium and plant-based fibres. Rather than relying on plastic, metal or other long-lasting materials, mycelium naturally binds the fibres together to form a lightweight memorial.

Natural variations in colour and texture are part of the material and make every piece unique.

Made to Return to the Earth

A LovFur mycelium urn can remain safely indoors when kept cool and dry. When placed in suitable soil conditions, moisture and microorganisms begin the natural biodegradation process.

The exact timing depends on soil, temperature, moisture and burial conditions.

Less Permanent Waste

Traditional urns are often designed to last indefinitely. LovFur offers another choice: a memorial that can hold ashes with care today and return gently to nature when the family feels ready.
